Partner & Creative Lead at Digital Sun

Start with the idea.
Build what it
can become.

I help founders and new businesses turn ideas into clear, credible brands and digital experiences. Larger projects move forward with the wider Digital Sun team behind them.

A good idea needs more than a good beginning.

Starting a business means making many decisions at once. What it is, who it is for, how it should look, how people should find it and what they should understand when they arrive.

When those decisions are made separately, the business starts to feel disconnected before it has had the chance to become clear.

I help bring the different parts together. You start with the idea, the ambition and the reason behind it. We turn that into a presence people can recognise and a foundation you can build on.

Startklar — a focused offer for new businesses

One person to start with. A clear foundation to grow from.

Startklar is for founders, startups and individuals who are turning an idea into a real business.

We work out what the business needs to say, how it should show up and what people need to experience when they find it. Then we build the foundation across digital and print, with me as your direct partner throughout.

A brand manual open on screen: logo, colour, typography and imagery rules. A stack of printed business cards, one fanned off the top. A type system on a monitor: three headline sizes, body text and a character set. Printed colour swatch cards fanned into an arc. A website hero section on a wide screen. A tri-fold brochure lying open. A digital questionnaire on screen, one answer chosen, progress running along the top. A phone showing a grid of social templates. Presentation slides floating in a stack: agenda, statement and chart layouts. Blank presentation cards fanned into an overlapping stack.

Strategy

Deciding what the idea needs to become.

Before anything is made, we clarify what the business stands for, who it is for and what it needs to be known for.

The aim is not to create more words. It is to make the important decisions clear enough that the business can move with confidence.

Seen from above: seven cords enter from the left, six stop short and go grey, one orange cord runs straight on to the right edge.
Seven in, one out

The six that stop are the work. Anyone can add.

Design

Giving the idea a form people can trust.

A new business needs to feel real before it has years of history behind it.

I turn the direction into a consistent visual and digital presence — something that gives the idea weight, makes the business easier to understand and leaves room for what comes next.

Seven glossy cords twisted into a single rope ending in a pressed seal.
The mark

Separate things made recognisable as one.

Five glossy cords of increasing thickness stacked in parallel, a weight scale.
Type

A voice, and a hierarchy that holds.

One cord coiled into a spiral, its finish stepping through five distinct tones.
Colour

Few enough to mean something.

Six glossy blades overlapping into an iris with a small opening at the centre.
Image

What you point the camera at, and what you leave out.

Glossy cords woven into a lattice panel that runs off past the edge of the frame.
Web

Structure that keeps going.

A single glossy cord caught mid-whip, frozen, trailing motion blur.
Motion

How it moves is how it sounds.

Cords pressed flat and fused into a stack of sheets, the layered edge facing camera.
Print

The system, made physical.

Impact

What changes when the business becomes clear.

Clearer positioning, stronger first impressions, better conversations and a business that no longer has to explain itself from scratch every time someone encounters it.

A crowd of soft glossy shapes on a dark ground with one large orange sphere among them. Small spheres joined by curved cords to one large orange sphere at the centre.

Process

How the work actually runs.

Three steps, in this order. We talk about the idea, build what we agree and hand over a finished foundation you can use and grow.

  1. Step one

    Talk

We talk about the project, the business, the people it needs to reach and what you want to make possible. You do not need a finished brief. The first conversation is where the direction begins.

Two soft figures on a dark ground with a glossy orange speech bubble between them.
  2. Step two

    Build

We build what we talked about. I lead the creative work and bring in the wider Digital Sun team when the project needs more depth, production or scale.

A layout assembling in three stages, each more complete than the last.
  3. Step three

    Hand over

You receive the finished work and the system behind it. Clear enough to use, maintain and continue without having to start again.

Throughout You work directly with me. When the project needs more, you have the wider Digital Sun team behind the work.

Client work

Different businesses. The same need for clarity.

I work on projects directly and as part of the Digital Sun team. Some are new businesses finding their first clear direction. Others are established businesses ready to improve how they show up and move forward.

The work changes from project to project. The responsibility stays the same: understand what matters and make it visible.

Questions I get.

How long does it take?

Positioning is usually two to three weeks. A full system with a site is six to ten, depending on how much has to be written from scratch rather than tidied up.

What do you need from me to start?

An idea, a business or a problem you want to solve. You do not need a finished brief. We can work out the direction together in the first conversation.

What is Startklar?

Startklar is my focused offer for founders, startups and individuals who are turning an idea into a real business. It gives you a clear foundation across digital and print, with me as your direct partner.

Do you work alone or with a team?

You work directly with me, but I am also a partner and Creative Lead at Digital Sun. I lead the work personally and bring in the right people from the wider team when the project needs more capability.

Can you work with our existing team?

Yes. I can work with your developer, marketing team or internal people. The goal is to create a clear system that everyone can understand and continue using.

What is Digital Sun?

Digital Sun is the wider team I work with on larger digital businesses, established experts, authors and personal brands. Together, we develop, build and scale digital businesses whose potential is bigger than their current results.

The point

From many threads to one line.

That is the whole job. Everything above is how it gets done.

Let’s talk

Let’s talk

You have the idea.
Let’s work out what it needs to become real.

Tell me what you are building, what you already have and where you want to go next. We can decide whether Startklar or the wider Digital Sun team is the right way forward.
